This is a Yellow Ware Small Pitcher or Creamer produced in New Jersey or Ohio C1870-1900, and is of a primitive and simple design. It measures 3 3/4" diameter at the mouth, 4 1/8" diameter at the base and 5" tall.

It is a molded piece with an applied handle, and has a nice strong golden egg yolk color. There is a small manufacturers ding to the side resulting in a shallow small glaze chip, three shallow glaze chips to the bottom base edge, no cracks or hairlines, four to five minuscule glaze flicks to the interior rim from use, and crazing to the glaze. There is some darkening within the glaze craze.

This is a wonderful hard to find piece in a plain primitive styling and displays very well in a yellow ware collection.
