This is a 19thC Yellow Ware Miniature Banded Bowl measuring 3.5" diameter and may have been produced in England. This bowl was part of a miniature pitcher and bowl set and is not a child's toy. Sets are very rare with the bowl being the harder to find. They date to the last half of the 19thC.

This bowl is a rare example with very fine blue banding and blue applied to the lip of the rim. If you look closely, you can see that some of the blue slip has bled into the yellow body of the bowl around the banding pattern. Also if you look closely you can see a very fine tight 1" vertical hairline from the rim at the six o'clock position in the next to the last photo.

The glaze has crazing to it, and there are two tiny rim flicks to the blue rim, and two small glaze flicks/chips to the base where the stilts may have been. This miniature bowl measures 3 1/2" diameter and 1 1/2" tall and is extremely rare.
