This is a yellow ware tea bowl with mocha stripe slip banding. This mocha form was produced in England during the 19thC. It measures 8" diameter and has a very nice ring to it. The bowl is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips or hairlines. The bands are very dark brown and white. A production flaw consists of a small tiny indentation to the interior base done during firing and some small places where glaze was never applied. There is even a glaze impression to the interior rim (of three finger marks)  where the potter picked up the bowl while the glaze was being applied. A really super hard to find piece.
