With the number 168 incised on the bottom, this yellow ware mini bowl was most likely produced by Brush McCoy C1930’s, and was part of their yellow ware Dandy Line production.

With strong egg yolk color, and perfectly even thin white slip bands, this bowl measures only 5 1/2” diameter, and is actually a hard to find size. There is a small old chip to the footed base, and a 2” go-through tight hairline from the rim.

This bowl was hand thrown with the makers tool marks visible to the rim. There are several small glaze pops and factory imperfections. This size is hard-to-find if you are working on a nest of these thin white banded bowls.
