This 11 1/2" Brush McCoy Dandy Line C1910-30 white slip banded bowl is early and HANDTHROWN (there are finger ridges from throwing it appearing to the interior) and it is nice and THICK and HEAVY. It is 5 1/4" tall.

The color is a very strong egg yolk color. The bowl is not "perfect". There are several small factory flaws in the glaze and slip, and the rolled rim has been hand carved with the potter's tools. Also the glaze was not applied quite evenly to the interior. But there are no chips (a few small glaze flicks to the slightly raised base). There is a tight "spider" the area of a small lime which shows in the glaze lines in the interior, but because the bowl is thick, the only evidence to the exterior is one small tight 2 1/2" line. No cracks or other lines.

This is a nice early bowl. If you like Dandy Line yellow ware, this bowl goes with the set produced during the same time period.
