This is a Yellow Ware Yelloware C1830-61 shallow Rectangular Baker that is Signed by the maker "T.Brunt/ Derbyshire/ Warranted/ Fireproof" to the base. This is an English piece of yellow ware from the impressed stamp on the base. Thomas Brunt succeeded his father John at their Rawdon Pottery near Burton-on-Trent in Derbyshire, Great Britain. They started production together in C1830 and continued in business until C1861.

It measures 10" x 7 1/2" x 1 1/4". Sadly, this piece is badly damaged particularly in one corner followed but a long break. It was poorly glued back together thankfully and not thrown out. Aside from the obvious damage, there is no other damage. It has good egg yolk color and shows signs that it was used. However, it does display well and is an early hand made/hand thrown piece very rarely seen for sale.
