This is a really wonderful C1900 German Horse Pull Toy on Metal Wheels marked Germany underneath the wooden base. The horse is a cloth/felt? covered horse over a carved wooden base standing upon a wooden base platform. Amazingly, the base has the original four metal wheels and an original or at least old pull toy string. The hoof pegs solidly go through the base with no repairs.

The saddle and bridle are leather with tin stirrups while the leather ears are now lying flat upon the horse's head. At one time the horse most likely had a horsehair mane and tail which are now gone long ago. The eyes are glass, and please take note of the graceful arch to the neck and dynamic energetic pose depicting movement.

The horse is one of the larger I have seen in the line of German pull toys measuring 15 1/2" long, 4 1/4" wide and 15 1/2" tall at the head.
