| This is a 19thC New England Bail Handle Pantry Box in original Dark Green Milk Paint measuring 11 1/2" diameter and 6 1/2" high. This box is GREAT! The original Windsor green milk paint is nice and dull with lots of patina and dry surface. It has lots of appropriate wear and patina.
The construction is penny nail and wooden pegs, and is made of heavy stock. The interior is clean and the base and wire bail handle have been painted. There is an age split across the top that someone has glued from the interior so the lid is stable.
