| Description: |
The wonderful floral design hooked cover has always been on this small Windsor plank footstool, and looks like it was specifically made for it (dimensions fit exactly). It dates to the 19thC and is in excellent condition. Traces of old red paint can be found under the plank with no repairs. There is some minor loss to the floral design with little impact to the folky, primitive quality of the flowers and hit-or-miss background design. It measures 14" long x 8" wide x 7" tall. A nice one in fine condition.
