Dynamite is the best word to describe the color of the bittersweet paint on this 7 1/4" diameter fingered antique lapped pantry box. The bands are held with very early nails with a small slice missing to the base lap. There is an 8" horizontal hairline around the lid band. The base is painted with a nice clean interior. The surface is nice and dry with good appropriate wear. This is a very early box with wonderful, wonderful color!
