Check out the schedule of antique shows at which I will be appearing.
I began my search for antiques 25 years ago. As many antique dealers before me, I started out as a collector. Early American schoolgirl samplers captivated my attention then as well as now. From there I proceeded in the thrill of the hunt for beautiful and unique early American country antiques. Living in New England with close proximity to Historic Deerfield, I was able to expand my knowledge base of the material culture of the 18th, 19th and 20th century.
Backed by my 25 years experience, I search daily to find exceptional quality American Country Antiques most of them in original paint and surface. My finds include textiles, teddy bears, samplers, yellow ware, blue and white stoneware, cast iron door stops, antique and vintage toys, dolls, baskets, ceramics, china, primitives, folk art, games, paintings, Victorian to vintage costume jewelry, and whimsical decorative accessories of all periods. You can be assured that authenticity, condition, and quality are top buying considerations.
After retiring from a 28 year teaching position, I am working in the antique business full time. I travel throughout New England, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania buying and exhibiting at major shows year round. I am a member of both the New Hampshire Antique Dealers Association and the Maine Antique Dealers Association. In addition, my expertise has been referenced in two nationally published magazinesMartha Stewart Living (March 1995) and Country Home (March/April 1998) and I have also contributed to Miller's Ceramic Buyers Guide (England) published 2000. I have also specialized in Yellow Ware pottery for over 11 years and have helped fill collections throughout the country.
I do not have an open shop, but maintain a busy schedule attending all the quality antique shows from Maine to Pennsylvania and the Midwest.
